Beverly Bridgewater Fuller
Beverly grew up in Derry, NH and graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1967. She studied art in high school and during summers at the Currier Gallery in Manchester, NH.
In 1967 Beverly moved to Boston and continued to study at Vesper George School of Art. She moved to Chatham on Cape Cod in 1976 and opened an antique shop. Beverly moved to Orleans in 1987 where she currently has her studio and gallery.
Beverly has worked in acrylics, pen and ink, and oil stick. It wasn't until 2001, under the tutelage of Richard Kenerson at the Academy of Performing Arts in Orleans on Cape Cod, that she developed her skills with colored pencil. She enjoys the precise details that can be achieved with pencils.
Beverly teaches classes in colored pencil drawing at her studio in East Orleans.
Her work has been shown in Massachusetts at local banks, the Academy of Performing Arts, the Cape Cod Art Association, and is on loan to various local businesses. In New Hampshire, Beverly had a one woman show at the Bagel Mill Gallery in Keene in 2007.
She is a member of the Cape Cod Art Association. Beverly's work may be seen at ArtWorks at the Framing Gallery, 57 Route 6A, Orleans, MA, and at her Anchorage Gallery & Studio at 184 Main Street in East Orleans.
